Normandy Park

Normandy Park began in the 1920's as a planned community featuring homes in the French Normandy Style of architecture, but the depression derailed completion. Years later, people rediscovered the area and by 1953 Normandy Park became incorporated. Today this quiet community, located south of Burien, is known for lovely neighborhoods, well-maintained parks and facilities, good schools, and strong community spirit. Normandy Park is mainly residential with fewer than 50 small businesses. Most houses are older and built on spacious lots, many with spectacular sound views.
